1) Set Up Audio And Video Equipment

I arrive one hour prior to the scheduled deposition start time. This allows me ample time to setup my camera and the hard wire lapel microphones necessary to record all parties involved in the deposition.

2) Introduce Deposition

Upon receiving the go ahead signal, I introduce the deposition by providing all necessary information, ie. date of deposition, start time, location, and the deponents name, etc., and have the attorneys involved introduce themselves and whom they represent.

3) Swear In Interpreter Then Ter And Witness

After providing the afore mentioned information, I ask the attending court reporter to swear in the Interpreter, if one is present, and the witness. If a court reporter is not present to perform the necessary swearing in, I as a Texas Notary accomplish the necessary swearing in.

4) Record Deposition With Digital Audio And Video Equipment

I then inform the attorney that he or she may proceed with the questioning of the witness. The video picture and audio of the witness is captured along with the audio of the attorneys.
I also announce all going on and off the record times .

5) Produce Dvd Copy Of Deposition

After the deposition has been completed and I return to my studio, I produce from the original digital recording a copy on DVD for the client and others who may wish a copy.
